Corporate Social Responsibility Planting Days

We welcome corporations and groups to come and join us for a mass planting session!

Typically, we can bag and plant 50 seeds/seedlings per person during a 2 hour planting session.

Free Tree Society will then nurture the seeds that are planted and grow them, ready to be given away to good homes.

Come get your hands dirty!

Typically a CSR Planting Day involves the FTSKL team guiding a group of up to 25 people in planting activities. We will source the seeds/cuttings.

Seeds/cuttings can be a random selection or fit a theme, such as Laksa (all the yummy herbs associated with this dish) or Mandi Bunga (scented flowering plants).

We’ll arrange some makan for all your hard work, typically a BBQ with lots of yummy vegetarian fare, cake and fruit. Of course, we’ll expect you to plant any seeds from the fruit afterwards!

FTSKL provides all tools and gloves. Volunteers are advised to wear clothes and shoes suitable for outdoor gardening work. Volunteers should bring their own mosquito repellent, sunscreen, hat and change of clothing. if required.
