Tree Planting & Propagation Activities We offer four distinct ways to get involved with tree planting, ranging from hands-on urban gardening to funding large-scale reforestation. 1. Forest Conservation & Propagation (Large Groups) • Location: Taman Tugu Nursery • Activity: Focuses on native forest species. Volunteers help with soil mixing, transplanting, and nursery management to support reforestation. • Capacity: Up to 60 pax (split into two sessions of 30). • Best for: Large teams. 2. Urban Plant Propagation (Medium Groups) • Location: Bangsar Nursery • Activity: Hands-on workshops focused on urban plants and gardening skills. Ideal for beginners looking to green their homes and communities. • Capacity: Up to 24 pax. • Best for: Small teams. 3. Trail Maintenance & Tree Planting (Small Groups) • Location: Pulai Trail Urban Forest • Activity: Active forest conservation involving hiking, trail upkeep, and planting for biodiversity in a secondary forest. • Capacity: Up to 10 pax (Strictly limited). • Best for: High-impact, intimate team-building and fit nature enthusiasts. 4. Reforestation Sponsorship (Off-site) • Location: Korbu Perak Arboretum and Rainforest Centre (KPARC) • Activity: Funding reforestation efforts in Perak. This sponsorship supports the planting and long-term care of trees in a vital rainforest corridor. • Best for: Organizations looking to support large-scale ecosystem restoration. • Note: This is NOT a hands-on activity.

Group Size Limits Our capacity varies by location to ensure everyone gets a quality, hands-on experience while minimizing our impact on the environment: • Bangsar Nursery: Maximum 24 pax. • Taman Tugu Nursery: Maximum 60 pax (Participants will be split into two manageable groups of 30). • Pulai Trail: Maximum 10 pax (Strictly limited; ideal for small leadership teams or intimate groups). Note: For larger corporate groups (60+), please contact us to discuss custom arrangements or staggered sessions booked over multiple sessions.

• Yes, for Bangsar Nursery and Taman Tugu Nursery, catering is available with advanced booking at RM25 per person (minimum 15 pax). • In line with our green ethos, all catering is vegetarian and zero-waste (no single-use plastics).

Yes! If you cannot attend in person or want to make a larger impact, you can sponsor our outreach programmes. Your contribution helps us keep environmental education free for the public and schools. While we appreciate all support, please note that as part of our zero-waste mission, we do not accept physical tokens like plaques, t-shirts, or mugs. No. While trees certainly offset carbon emissions the process to monitor tree growth to calculate offsets is a complicated and long term scientific process. The number of trees required to offset corporate emissions is much larger than what our programme offers. Furthermore, carbon certification/trading minimizes the urgency behind what is truly needed - to reduce and eliminate fossil fuel usage. Let us instead recognize tree planting for its other innumerable benefits. Furthermore a key project goal is to improve environmental and sustainability knowledge in the community. Building capacity in this area is of huge importance in building a greener environmentally conscious society.
