Explore Pulai Trail
Discover a hidden ecological gem in Bukit Persekutuan (Federal Hill), one of Kuala Lumpur’s last remaining public green spaces. This 1.2km loop system offers a refreshing escape into nature, accessible via Jalan Negeri Sembilan or through the Free Tree Society Bangsar Nursery.
Managed as a community-led conservation site, the trail serves as a living laboratory for urban rewilding. Whether you are navigating its winding paths for a peaceful hike or joining a stewardship session, you are stepping into a vital green corridor that bridges the heritage of Federal Hill with the vibrant energy of Bangsar.

Hike at Anytime!
The Pulai Trail is open for you to explore at your own pace. Wander through 1.2km of forest trails, with clear signposts at all main paths, entrances, and exits to guide your way. For those seeking a thrill, Loop 2 offers a delightful challenge with an uphill climb perfect for an intermediate hiking experience.
We’d love to hear about your adventure! Your feedback helps us continuously improve the trail for everyone.

The Pulai forest is a thriving hub of biodiversity where native plant life drives a thriving urban ecosystem. Scan the QR codes along the trail to uncover the folklore, history, and science behind our plants.
We invite researchers, students, and nature lovers to help us explore and document the unique species found here.

Be a scientist for a day! Help us track wildlife along the trail to see how green corridors support our local species. By recording your sightings on the iNaturalist app, you provide vital data that helps researchers protect urban biodiversity.
Ready to contribute? Start recording today and help us reconnect nature in our neighborhood!
Location
The meeting point for this activity is at our Bangsar nursery on Jalan Limau Purut. We provide all the tools and equipment, and drinking water is available at the nursery for refills.
